Ateneo De Zamboanga Phil-LiDAR 1 Team together with the LGUs of Zamboanga Peninsula who received their flood hazard maps

16 FEBRUARY 2017, ZAMBOANGA CITY--Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) hosted the 6th and the final Phil-LiDAR 1 Mindanao Cluster Colloquium with the theme 'Retrospect, Deliver, Realize'. It was attended by around 300 participants from the participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Local Government Units from the Zamboanga Peninsula, and other National Agencies and NGOs.

QUEZON CITY-- A day before its completion date, the different component projects of the Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards or NOAH Program were formally turned over to different concerned government agencies.

The memorandum of understanding to create the Asian Micro-satellite Consortium (AMC) will come into effect on November 18, marking a major step forward in establishing an unprecedented regional regime to develop microsatellite technologies and share and use collected data relating to the environment and natural disasters, etc.
