Smart City is a web-based government solution that provides automated management, administration and analytic systems for local government units to empower, enable and enhance citizen participation, social and economic opportunities through open source technologies This umbrella software solution developed primarily for LGUs include programs that shall cover inter-related applications, to wit:
- Legislative Management and Tracking System (LeMTrac)
- e-Building Permit System (eBPS)
- Real Property Assessment and Tax Management System (RPATs)
- e-Business Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS)
- Point of Payment System (PoPS)
- Local ID System
To transform local government services into a one-stop web portal solution by automating level operations across departments and sub-offices primarily for local government units. Specifically, the project aims to:
1. Develop six (6) interrelated systems that work as a cluster of interdependent modules in:
a. Legislative Management Tracking System (LeMTrac)
b. e-Building Permit System (e-BPS)
c. Real Property Assessment and Tax Management System (RPASTs)
d. e-Business Permit and Licensing System (e-BPLS)
e. Point of Payment System (PoPS)
f. Local ID System
Implement the system in Nabua and Bula then eventually across Rinconada
The umbrella program of Reengineering Government through ICT shall deliver six (6) software component outputs namely: 1. Legislative Management and Tracking System (LeMTrac), 2. e-Building Permit System (eBPS), 3. Real Property Assessment and Tax Management System (RPATs), 4. e-Business Permit and Licensing System (eBPLS), 5. Point of Payment System (PoPS) and 6. Local ID System. Each component will be submitted for a copyright protection and research write-ups for possible research presentation and publication.
