Executive Summary

An AI-based system that monitors vehicular and pedestrian activities from the vantage point of regular traffic surveillance cameras.  

The Problem and Opportunity 

Timely, accurate, and reliable information harnessed from surveillance camera networks presents huge opportunities in elevating business and institutional competitiveness, by providing valuable insights on pedestrian behaviors and vehicular traffic trends. There is an abundance of camera surveillance networks but most video feeds are still left unprocessed due to a lack of computing capacity and manpower, hence, the need for creative solutions that leverage existing IT infrastructure and equipment.  

 

Our solution

infrastructure and equipment.  We have developed a software system that can process videos of various traffic road scenes under different weather conditions. Our system can track vehicles according to type and pedestrians, it can generate useful traffic data such as traffic volume and density, speeds of movement and identify concentrations of vehicular and human activity over long periods of time. While existing state of the art vison-based monitoring facilities require computing platforms and set-ups that can be prohibitively expensive for ordinary business, we offer a solution that performs well with relatively cheap computing hardware and a conveniently accessible intuitive web interface.

We provide our video analytics services to companies, institutions, and government units by simply tapping into their existing camera networks, or by them sending their traffic videos to us. Our company will charge on a subscription basis (weekly, monthly, annual) or depending on the length of videos that will be processed. Additional fees may optionally be provided for advanced analytics and visualization services or customized reports according to client-specific needs.
